Welcome to Eloping Weddings.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the booking of our elopement packages across Aotearoa New Zealand. By accessing our website or booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.

1. Bookings & Payments

• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your elopement date and chosen package.
• The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 30 days prior to your scheduled elopement date.
• All prices are listed in NZD and are subject to change without prior notice, though confirmed bookings will retain their agreed-upon rate.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• We understand that life happens. If you need to reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate your new date, subject to vendor and location availability. Additional fees may apply.
• Cancellations made within 60 days of the elopement date may result in a forfeiture of the full payment, as vendors and permits are secured well in advance.
• Helicopter flights and certain locations are weather-dependent. In case of extreme weather, we will work with you to find an alternative location, adjust the timeline, or reschedule to a backup date if possible.

3. Photography & Usage Rights

• We proudly quietly orchestrate and cinematically remember your special day. By booking with us, you grant Eloping Weddings the right to use selected images and videos for promotional purposes, including our website, social media, and marketing materials.
• If you prefer to keep your elopement entirely private, please let us know in writing prior to your wedding day, and we will respect your privacy.

4. Liability & Responsibility

• Eloping Weddings acts as a coordinator for your elopement, working with trusted independent vendors (celebrants, photographers, helicopter operators). We are not liable for any delays, accidents, or breaches of contract by third-party vendors.
• Couples are responsible for obtaining their own travel insurance and ensuring they meet all legal requirements for marriage in New Zealand.

5. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
